Acquisition by the OPW

I’m delighted to share some exciting news: the Office of Public Works has acquired my painting Myths of Innocence (2025, oil on linen, 230 × 320 cm / 90.6 × 126 in.) for the national collection.

The work was exhibited earlier this year as part of All Flowers in Time Bend Towards the Sun, a curatorial project I organised with Lee Welch under the name Hallahan & Welch. To have it chosen from this exhibition and placed in the collection is a huge honour.

Myths of Innocence is now on view in Dublin Castle, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see it find a permanent home where it can be experienced by such a wide public.

A special thanks to Eamonn at the black chip for lining up this acquisition.
